Your teaser on Facebook – Guidelines

To ensure your contribution is a good fit for the layout of our social media channel, we have drawn up a set of useful Facebook guidelines.


A teaser on Facebook is only available in conjunction with a text-type advert on our website and will be labelled as an “advert”.

The following guidelines apply for teasers on Facebook. They must be observed so that the teaser can be displayed correctly:

  • Post-text: about 90 characters (recommendation from Facebook)
  • Link-headline: headline text ad
  • Meta-description of the link-preview: preface text ad
  • Image link-preview: first image from text ad

Please ensure you follow the guidelines so that the banners can be published on time.
