Anti-slipping effect
While not always recognisable, ribbons and fabrics which are refined by Stapperfend, Wuppertal (D) are used in nearly every othopaedic textile as well as in numerous garments. The application is implemented in textiles for medical use, orthopaedics, prosthesis, sports items and clothing, transport belts and anywhere else the anti-slipping effect is needed. All materials like polyester, polyamide, polypropylene, polyurethane, polyacrylic, glass, cotton, up to a width of 600mm can be coated. There possibilities offered by silicone coatings, for examples in dots, stripes, waves, rhombus and individual surfaces, are unlimited.
