Crealet was founded through a management buy-out of Willy Grob AG and grew out of the need for specialized warp let-off controls. The founders, Walter Wirz and Leo Kuster, supported by Johann Georg Schmid and Altmann Holding AG, seized the opportunity. The company`s name, derived from “creative warp let-off”, represents its innovative approach. Crealet`s journey included the introduction of “Ukast” in 2008 to achieve high warp tensions, serve various applications such as ribbon weaving, and provide impeccable customer service. The company remains committed to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, as evidenced by its partnerships with Comsat (core competence in sectional and direct warping machines and creels) and AEI specialized in manufacturing quality assurance solutions in warp knitting and warp preparation). Walter Wirz, CEO Emeritus of Crealet, sums up the ethos: “We are never satisfied, until our customers are satisfied.”
