Ecomondo: Textiles take centre stage
The textile industry takes centre stage in a new hall with an international conference programme at Ecomondo, which opens its doors on 3 November.
Organised by Italian Exhibition Group, the global professional community of the industry will meet at Ecomondo 2026 from 3 November.
New Textile Hall
For the first time, an entire hall is dedicated exclusively to the textile industry. Built around topics such as innovation and the circular economy, the area is designed to connect companies, technologies and expertise. The new textile area at Ecomondo is a true international hub, made possible in part through the support of the European associations EURIC and EURATEX and of Italian consortia and associations specialised in the sector.
Ecomondo also works with major associations from European countries, including Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, France and Bulgaria, as well as Bangladesh, to host high-level international buyer delegations at the fair.
Congress Events
The role of the textile industry in the new European circular economy will be one of the central themes of the conference programme set by Ecomondo's international scientific and technical committee. It will also be the focus of a dedicated programme developed by Ecomondo's Textile Working Group. Events not to be missed include "Reuse, repair and eco-design. The heroes of 'magic' circles of Circular Economy in the textile sector" and "ESPR and Digital Product Passport in textiles: traceability and transparency along the value chain". The latter is organised by Ecomondo's CTS in collaboration with AISEC.
