The 76.8-inch (1,950 mm) model combines eight PrecisionCore MicroTFP printheads with a high-capacity ink system and can be equipped with an optional jumbo roll feed and take-up unit. The SC-F20000 will be shown on the Epson stand at Fespa Global Print Expo 2026 (Hall 3, Stand C75), where visitors can see the printer in a practical workflow and view applications on textiles and soft signage.

Eight printheads for high-speed output

The SC-F20000 is Epson's first dye-sublimation printer to be fitted with eight printheads, each offering 3,200 nozzles. According to the manufacturer, this configuration enables very fast and consistent results, with print speeds of up to approximately 306 m2 per hour in the fastest mode. The minimum resolution is specified at 600 x 600 dpi. The printer uses Ultrachrome DS ink in a four-colour set for applications such as sportswear, fashion, household goods and soft signage.

Ink system for long production runs

To support long, uninterrupted production, the SC-F20000 is equipped with an ink system providing 2 x 10 litres per colour and automatic ink switching (hot swap). Empty containers can be replaced while printing, reducing interruptions in day-to-day operation. The printer has been developed with productivity and stability in mind and incorporates functions intended to support long runs and reliable output.

To help ensure dependable printing, the interior of the device is protected against dust. A suction fan and media cleaner are used to reduce particles inside the printer and minimise the risk of nozzle clogging.

Dust management, jumbo roll options and Fespa showcase

For operations that need to handle extensive jobs without frequent transfer paper changes, Epson offers optional jumbo roll solutions for the SC-F20000. These feed and take-up units support the use of higher-capacity rolls. The printer integrates Epson technologies including Precision Dot, multi-layer halftoning, LUT and Microweave to support robust and consistent output. The SC-F20000 is supplied with Epson Edge Print Pro software.

At Fespa Global Print Expo 2026, Epson will demonstrate the SC-F20000 in a practical production workflow. Visitors are invited to see live demonstrations, discuss their production requirements with Epson specialists and explore dye-sublimation applications for sportswear, textiles and soft signage.
