Veteran Executive Takes Expanded Operations Role
The Lycra Company has promoted Robert Johnston to Chief Operating Officer, expanding his responsibilities beyond global manufacturing operations and IT to include product development oversight. Johnston, who brings 35 years of experience with The Lycra Company and its predecessor organizations, will now manage R&D talent, laboratory resources, and pilot production facilities.

Cross-Industry Expert Joins Product Leadership
Doug Kelliher has been appointed Executive Vice President, Product, joining The Lycra Company's global leadership team. Kelliher will lead product management teams developing strategy across fibers, fabrics, and garments, with focus on delivering differentiated solutions that meet consumer needs.
Kelliher brings over 30 years of product leadership experience from Timberland, Velcro Companies, Polartec, and Milliken & Company. "I'm thrilled to join The Lycra Company and contribute to its legacy of innovation," Kelliher said. "With the strength of our global team and a clear focus on differentiated products that fulfill market demands, I'm confident we can unlock new growth opportunities."

Both executives report directly to CEO Gary Smith, who emphasized the appointments' strategic importance.
