Linz Textil masters the entire textile production chain – from raw fibre to finished greige fabric. In the spinning mill, yarns ranging from Nm 8/1 to Nm 200/1 are produced using five technologies – open-end, ring, airjet, Siro and compact – in close development partnership with LENZING™ Austria. The focus is consistently on customer-specific designs: fibre selection, blend, twist, yarn count and sizing formula are conceived with the target fabric in mind – not the other way round.

Yarns with Purpose. Fabrics that Perform.

The weaving mill produces greige fabrics on Dornier and Picanol air-jet and rapier looms in widths ranging from 90 to 360 cm – precisely in accordance with specifications or the fabric properties requested by the customer. Those who source yarns and fabrics from the same company benefit from the same development philosophy: coordinated from the outset, without any external interfaces. The applications range from abrasive backing, adhesive tape backing and coating backing, through composites, workwear and military textiles to sun protection, outdoor and tent fabrics.

"Linz Textil is your development partner – from fibre to finished greige fabric." – Carl Mrusek, Managing Director Linz Textil GmbH

With 5,600 tonnes of yarn and 6.4 million metres of greige fabric produced annually – exclusively at its European production sites in Linz and Klanjec – Linz supplies customers in over 30 countries. An export ratio of 81 per cent and an equity ratio of 87 per cent demonstrate what a long-term production partner needs: substance and reliability. Certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, the EU Ecolabel and FSC®. Founded in 1838.
