“Why are you doing this to yourselves?” We are asked this question time and again when it comes to our decision to take on the management of a company in a supposedly dusty sector such as the textile industry. However, we see the future of the industry in a more positive light than is often portrayed in public perception.

If we act with foresight, question existing structures and develop processes in a targeted manner instead of merely reacting to external influences with a delay, we are convinced that the textile industry has a future, especially in Germany. What is needed for this are fresh ideas. Whether plant-based dyes, smart clothing or AI-supported automation - the textile industry shows that it is capable of innovation and therefore still has a strong raison d’être in Germany and Europe.

So why are we doing this to ourselves? As young managing directors, we are consciously and wholeheartedly taking on responsibility in a company that has grown over decades, with deep-rooted expertise, innovative products, excellent quality and a unique service. We are working intensively on a new corporate culture, developing new business areas in a targeted manner and accelerating the digitalization and automation of our processes. We firmly believe that it is not just the environment, which is certainly very challenging at the moment, but above all our own motivation and willingness to change that determine our success and help us to overcome the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that arise.
