Global innovation for safer workplaces

A+A 2025, held in Düsseldorf from 3 to 6 November 2025, reaffirmed its position as the world’s leading trade fair for safety, security, and health at work. The event welcomed 67,000 trade visitors from 150 nations and featured 2,340 exhibitors from 70 countries. Under the theme “People Matter”, the fair showcased cutting-edge solutions for creating safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplaces, cementing its reputation as a global hub for networking, investment, and knowledge sharing.

Technology and sustainability take centre stage

This year’s event placed a strong emphasis on technological advancements and sustainable practices. The Exo Park, a dedicated space for exoskeletons and digital ergonomics, provided hands-on demonstrations of innovative workplace technologies. Personal protective equipment (PPE) was a key focus, with exhibitors unveiling lightweight, sustainable materials and smart features that seamlessly blend safety, functionality, and modern design. The international Start-up Zone was another highlight, where emerging companies showcased innovations such as sensor-based protection systems, AI-driven safety analytics, and resource-efficient production methods. These developments underscored the growing importance of digitalisation and sustainability in occupational safety.

A platform for knowledge and collaboration

Running alongside the trade fair, the 39th International Congress for Occupational Safety and Occupational Medicine attracted 3,000 participants. With 100 events and 330 speakers, the congress addressed pressing topics such as artificial intelligence, mental health, and violence prevention in the workplace. New formats like the Vision Zero Stage and A+A Cinema brought the congress closer to the exhibition floor, making it more accessible and engaging for attendees.

Looking ahead to 2027

A+A 2025 set new benchmarks for the industry, demonstrating how innovation and collaboration can drive safer and healthier workplaces. The next edition of A+A is scheduled to take place from 19–22 October 2027 in Düsseldorf, promising to build on its legacy as the premier global event for occupational safety and health.
