The focus lies on cutting machines, cutting technology, automation solutions and software. The event shows how cutting processes in leather processing, textile cutting, sealing production and composites cutting can be made more efficient, flexible and future-proof. Target groups range from textile manufacturing to aerospace.

From Workflow to Cutting

Live demonstrations present complete solutions from Zünd and its partners. They range from compact cutting solutions to highly automated production environments with robotics and software. Zünd, Mind from Portugal and Mindhive from New Zealand jointly develop end-to-end digital workflows, from material capture and data preparation through to precise cutting. The Dectura workflow demonstrates this using leather hides, from automated defect detection to cutting.

For investment decision-makers, the focus is on cost-effectiveness and scalability. Those who work operationally with cutting, material handling or quality assurance can see the solutions in practical use and compare them with their own requirements.

Lectures and Insights into Production

Expert presentations and keynotes complement the Technology Days. They cover digitalisation and networking projects, with a focus on goals, challenges, approaches and practical results. During the guided tours, visitors see how the digital cutting systems are developed and produced. A highlight is the visit to the new assembly and logistics building.
