Techtextil/Texprocess 2015: Rökona

New liner generation

Rökona from Tübingen, Germany, is presenting their newest patented Push-Pull-Liner, which in combination with other functional material layers creates a maximum moisture absorption system. The Liner is available in a variety of styles, is made of 100 percent recyclable polyester and does not contain chemical additives.

The innovation is a lightweight liner, which simultaneously fulfils two functions. The Push effect transports moisture away from the skin, and the pull effect pulls the moisture through to the next material layer, or membrane. Through this process, the Wind-chill effect is minimalised and body temperature reduction is prevented. The material is suitable for a variety of uses, ranging from protective clothing, outdoor clothing, to even sportswear – while simultaneously achieving ultimate wearing comfort.

The Push-Pull-Liner is produced in Germany and meets Bluesign and Öko-Tex Standards 100. Rökona Textilwerk GmbH & Co. KG, a family-run company since 1962, has proven to be a full-service distributor with strengths in innovation in the technical textile industry. A key part of Rökona’s service is the individualised design in the induTech, mobilTech, medTech, clothTech, and proTech planning and production processes.
