Andreas Streubig, Director Global Sustainability at Hugo Boss:

“The ‘Cotton made in Africa’ standard meets our high quality requirements for sustainable cotton. This partnership will allow us to increase our use of sustainable cotton which currently lies at more than 40 percent – this represents a decisive step in our quest to raise the share of sustainable cotton to at least 90 percent by 2025.”

Cotton accounts for around half of Hugo Boss’s total fabric requirements. This demonstrates just how important a role the natural fibre plays for the German fashion company.
