Just as popular are adventures crossing the Alps on foot or exploring cross-border cultural landscapes. In keeping with this trend, Maier Sports has come up with a new and highly innovative collection. The centerpiece of this line is a jacket whose patented design has already clinched the Innovation Prize Plus X Award for high quality, great design and function. The long-distance hiking jacket is stretchy and is designed with a wind-/waterproof and breathable mtex 20,000 membrane. The rucksack cape is docked onto the jacket and represents another patented innovation from Maier Sports (Patent DE102013019515), offering double protection against the rain: for man/woman and rucksack.
