The human brain alongside artificial intelligence.Do people need to be comforted with products that have the ability to soothe them?
Our economy – and thus also our industry – is falling over itself. Caught in the hamster wheel, we are being bombarded with ever more requirements and demands.
Time to sit back and reflect? Time to focus on ourselves? Absolutely not! Having said that, a counter movement has been set in motion which is reflected in the products with which we surround ourselves.
The human brain, alongside artificial intelligence, has become the focus of scientific interest. The question is can it keep up with the overwhelming global changes and the speed of the digital world without suffering mental overload or do people need to be comforted with products that have the ability to soothe them? Products that display a sense of responsibility, that show empathy whilst reflecting the Global? We asked several exhibitors mostly at Munich Fabric Start, which of their products mirror this new way of thinking and feeling.

During its innovation meeting, the VDMD TrendResearchTeam noted that more and more companies, people and groups are placing the individual at the centre of their products and thoughts. The focus on ‘more’ was yesterday. Now it’s the benefits for people that count. Innovation always marks the beginning of a new way of thinking and of empathy!
