Texworld Paris, Texworld Denim Paris, Avantex Paris, Shawls & Scarves and Apparel Sourcing Paris attracted an international audience of professionals from 17-20 September 2018 in Le Bourget. And the Leatherworld Paris trade fair celebrated its debut. As well as a wide variety of materials of animal origin, synthetic and vegan leathers were also on show, as well as faux furs. A trend forum and a catwalk show completed the new offer.

Connected by a well-organized shuttle bus, the fair ensemble attracted a total of 15,075 visitors, slightly less than last year's event. Visitors came from France (+ 11%) from Italy (+ 5%), Russia (+ 7%), Switzerland (+ 16%), India (+ 17%), South Korea (+ 15%), Lebanon (+ 14%), Canada (+ 7%), Argentina (+ 8%), Colombia (+ 5%,) Tunisia (+ 11%), Mauritius (+ 8%)

 With energy and enthusiasm

Michael Scherpe, President of Messe Frankfurt France: "We are delighted with the energy and enthusiasm that has been felt at this year's exhibition. Paris is and will remain the fashion location with that certain something."

 Elite for the discerning

Especially the offer "Elite" was well received by the visitors. Elite stands for a selection of selected exhibitors who have been evaluated by a committee according to the criteria quality, competitiveness (price), delivery times and logistics. Around 25 manufacturers from Bangladesh, India, Japan, Lebanon, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Taiwan and Turkey were grouped together in Elite and gave discerning buyers an efficient yet discrete overview of the product range.

 Sustainability

In the entrance area of ??Hall 2, the sustainable trends were summarized in a separate but manageable forum.
