Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, staged in conjunction with Yarn Expo, Chic and PH Value, posted a healthy total of 71,163 visitors. This result was a source of great relief to both exhibitors and organisers.

In the face of many macro-economic uncertainties, the slowing pace of growth in the Chinese economy and the structural transformation of the Chinese textile and apparel industry, the trade fair was seen as an important market indicator, even though the spring exhibition represents the smaller of the two annual events. It soon became clear that China is still asserting its position as the biggest supplier to the EU and USA. The growing, ever more worldly middle classes want and expect more quality and better service. Textile network went to China to draw its own conclusions and to be your eyes!
