Despite the amount of exhibitors slightly dropped, one can see: the importance of the Asian marketplace in Shanghai rises continuously. Compared to the beginning now quality counts even more than quantity. For premium products Salon Europe with the Milano Unica as well as numerous European pavillons from France, Germany and Turkey offers their product range. But also pavillons from Hong Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand demonstrates their importance for the global textile market. For the widest range of products, seven domestic halls which are categorised by product for easy sourcing show that the quality of domestic products getting better and better. Remarkable the increasing number of exhibitors at the Beyond Denim hall. All in all the Chinese market is changing. Due to the consume of the Chinese middle class is decreasing, Chinese exhibitors no longer concentrate only on the domestic market. They are looking for new potential markets as Europe or the USA.
