The “Adidas PRO WORK” safety footwear collection has been developed to meet the evolving demands of workers in a range of industries, including logistics, manufacturing and transport. It combines adidas’ renowned sports DNA with certified protection and ergonomic performance. A comprehensive selection of models, including styles specifically for women and designed for different working conditions, brings adidas’ modern look to the construction site and will be available from August 2026 at selected retailers and distributors across Europe.

Designed for modern workers

“We listened to employees who already wear adidas outside of work and launched a comprehensive introductory collection of certified safety shoes so they can bring the same style and individuality to the construction site,” said Lauren Mooney, General Manager at GLO.

“Adidas PRO WORK” takes into account the diversity of employees in sectors where PPE is mandatory: the collection includes two women’s models specifically adapted to the shape of the female foot, providing enhanced support and a precise fit.

Combining brand strength and technical know-how

The new safety shoes are designed for workers operating both in controlled, predictable environments and on varied surfaces in wet or dry conditions. The first collection brings together purpose-driven technologies to deliver reliable comfort, protection and performance throughout the working day.

At the heart of the design philosophy is 360?degree brand recognition: the iconic three adidas stripes are integrated so that the shoe remains unmistakable from every angle – whether climbing a ladder, kneeling or squatting.

The shoes are ESD-certified and metal-free, making them suitable for sensitive environments as well. Their lightweight construction with a textile penetration-resistant insole, fibreglass toe cap and cushioning EVA midsole helps to reduce fatigue during long shifts. Selected models feature a pressure relief system that cushions the midfoot and reduces pressure during prolonged kneeling or squatting.
