In cooperation with Rietberg-based carpet maker Reinkemeier, Barbara Becker, ex-wife of former tennis champion Boris Becker, has developed innovative carpets for indoor and outdoor use as a complement to her existing b.b. Home Passion concept. These rugs can be used on patios and balconies as well as indoors under dining tables and in lounges. These easy-care decorative furnishings are made from a special carpet fibre, making them lightweight, water and dirt resistant. These durable rugs are processed in such a way that they are reversible, creating a mirrored colour effect. “One rug – two faces. This is my favourite way of describing this concept,” the designer states.
Barbara Becker is continually working together with Reinkemeier to create new collections and ideas for practical and aesthetic designs.
