Yarn Expo Autumn 2026 will take place from 25-27 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The organiser frames the edition around a purchasing shift towards renewable materials and transparent sourcing, with buyers putting more weight on origin, performance and circularity. Cotton remains a key category, while certified, recycled and value-added yarns are described as expanding product development possibilities.

A major sourcing feature this autumn is the expanded India Pavilion, organised by Texprocil. The pavilion is set to host more than 40 exhibitors, more than double compared to the previous edition. Buyers can explore bci-certified, combed and compact yarns, as well as products developed under the Kasturi Cotton Bharat traceability initiative. Among the participating Indian exhibitors, Excel Enterprise will present premium Shankar-6 raw cotton and long-staple combed cotton yarns for high-end circular knitting and fine weaving, offering strength, low fibre fly and fabric uniformity. Shreedhar Cotsyn will showcase 100% combed and compact cotton yarns, multi-tone melange collections, and cotton blends with acrylic, viscose and plant-based cellulose, aimed at applications including fashion, activewear and intimates.

Beyond India, the fair lists further cotton and natural fibre options for visitors seeking different origins, yarn constructions and production capabilities. Cotton Council International will present cotton usa, highlighting cotton yarns supported by farm-to-spindle supply chain transparency and environmental metrics. Duniatex Group (Indonesia) will bring integrated capabilities across spinning, weaving, dyeing and knitting, while Ihsan Cotton Products (Pakistan) will feature recycled cotton open-end yarns and home textile yarns made with post-industrial textile waste. The release also points to lower-impact, cellulosic and plant-based alternatives, including tencel-related offerings, bamboo fibre, and lyocell innovations.
