ITMA 2015 – Reseda Binder: Optimized wax application

A superior and optimised wax application is one of the most important issues for a smooth and efficient knitting process. By producing and using an underwaxed yarn, knitting machines face yarn and needle breakages which reduce machine efficiency and the quality of the knitted fabric. On the other hand, by using an over-waxed yarn the knitting machines and needles become polluted which reduces productivity. Reseda Binder has developed a new tester for measuring optimum wax application and friction levels which can be used on all yarn types and yarn counts. Additionally, the most equal wax application can be achieved by using Reseda Binder Naturafin wax rolls which offer the advantage of having a smooth and clean production on the knitting machines coupled with the highest possible machine efficiency.
