Orderable via specialist retailers from September

Fristads is bringing the Multinorm Green collection to market. According to the company, the range comprises more than 20 products and is designed for professionals working under changing hazard conditions who must be able to rely on their personal protective equipment. Following its premiere at A+A, the collection is now becoming available to order through specialist retailers.

Environmental footprint documented through an EPD

Fristads states that Multinorm Green is completely PFAS-free and made from “more sustainable materials from responsible sources”. A key element is the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD): as the world’s first multinorm collection with an EPD, it reports CO2 emissions and water consumption across the entire product life cycle. This is intended to provide companies with robust data for sustainable procurement processes and for ESG and Scope 3 reporting.

Protection system and multiple standards in one garment

The collection is conceived as a coordinated system of jackets, trousers, bib-and-brace trousers, coveralls, as well as sweatshirts, sweatshirt jackets and long-sleeve tops. It meets multiple protection standards in a single garment, including protection against heat and flame (EN ISO 11612), welding work (EN ISO 11611), arc flash protection (IEC 61482-2), electrostatic properties (EN 1149-5), limited chemical splash protection (EN 13034), knee protection (EN 14404), UV protection (EN 13758-2) and high-visibility protection up to class 3 (EN ISO 20471). The collection is also metal-free and therefore suitable for use in ATEX environments.

Jacket and trousers as key building blocks

At the centre is the Multinorm Green jacket featuring inherent flame protection, high visibility and an ergonomic fit. The protection is integrated into the fibres and remains effective even after industrial laundering in accordance with EN ISO 15797. For work trousers, Fristads highlights full-stretch fabrics, ripstop reinforcements and ergonomic details. Two versions are named: a standard version and a premium variant with additional features such as aramid reinforcements and expanded adjustment options.
