Alge-innotex, a company owned by the Alge Group, based in Lustenau, Austria, specialises in the development and production of technical products for the sports, medicine, automotive, aviation and furniture industries. The company’s portfolio includes everything from flame-retardant elastic taping and meshes to high-quality breathable bandages, siliconised medical garters and trendy elastic straps for ski and motorbike goggles. Products such as a reflective band that complies with EN ISO 20471:2013, meshes for the automotive and aviation industries as well as conductive bands (for technical applications and products worn close to the skin) are among the unique products offered by this firm. The site in Lustenau comprises a vertically integrated production facility (warping (direct warping), knitting, finishing, dyeing, coating, making up). The machinery inventory includes 150 weaving looms, 70 knitting machines (narrow goods up to a maximum width of 600mm, meshes up to a maximum width of 1270mm), 11 dyeing machines, 1 siliconising machine and a diversity of making-up options. An ink-jet printing solution is to be added in the near future.
