Synthomer, a global producer of dispersions used in a number of technical textiles applications, is launching its latest product innovations at the Techtextil 2015 show. Technical experts from Synthomer´s Business Unit Functional Polymers are available to present the latest innovations and other products serving a number of markets in the manufacture of technical textiles including glass fibre and scrims, textile printing, woven and non-woven hygiene fabrics, abrasives and technical papers. Amongst the next generation of environmentally friendly, water-based products presented at the show will be a new binder for textile printing (Litex NX 7390) and the new Litex SX product series used for the bonding of glass fibre reinforcement fabrics for external insulation finishing systems (EIFS). The new binders facilitate the formulation of products which are more environmentally friendly, featuring low VOC and low formaldehyde levels whilst delivering improved performance properties.
