Alberto Ceria, technical product manager at The Lycra Company, will share expertise on the company’s textile-to-textile platform, a systemic circularity initiative designed to transform elastane from a circularity barrier into a recoverable, high-value resource. Built on collaboration among recyclers, mills, brands, and technology developers, and compatible with mechanical, chemical, enzymatic, and emerging recycling technologies, the platform provides a scalable framework for advancing textile-to-textile circularity.

Nicholas Kurland, The Lycra Company’s product development director - advanced concepts, will present a session on the development of Coolmax CloakF fiber. Launched earlier this year and now commercially available, this innovation minimizes the appearance of sweat on fabrics and provides moisture management to help the wearer feel cool. The GRS-certified fiber is now made with 100 percent recycled polyester, offering brands a solution that delivers both lasting comfort and performance while helping reduce environmental impact.
