Compared to conventional carpets, the Clean Tuft technology offers considerable added value in terms of its durability and ability to be cleaned, the company revealed. It is now possible to remove small particles such as wood splinters or needles more quickly and thoroughly, as they no longer become entangled in the carpet.

Clean Tuft is also convincing in terms of its durability and abrasion resistance. “Given that the form and structure of the fibres remain unchanged throughout the car’s entire service life, Clean Tuft boasts a high-quality handle and an attractive appearance,” states Autoneum. “Not only that but Clean Tuft recovers far more quickly than conventional needle punched non-wovens when exposed to pressure from feet, for example, and its hydrophobic surface means that it is more resistant to staining.”
