„More visitors, more new customers and international visitors on our stand than ever before! This year's 4th Texprocess has been by far the most successful for us,” Marketing Manager Stephan Gunold comments very pleased with the success of the exhibition in Frankfurt.

The current boom in the embroidery sector has contributed to the high interest of the trade visitors in embroidery materials and their perfect workmanship, yet visitors to the show were particularly interested in thread innovations and therefore it becomes apparent once more "how important it is to always score with new threads and materials”, Stephan Gunold explains. In time for the 90th anniversary of the company this year, the renowned company based in Stockstadt has incorporated a real thread innovation to its extensive thread range: Cry. The unique feature of this thread innovation is retro-reflection, due to thousands of microscopically small glass beads. „We are absolutely convinced of Cry. It is very innovative and allows for entirely new optics on textiles, thus offering exactly what companies are currently looking for: a novelty that combines function and design.”

Innovative Threads That Inspire

In addition to the latest thread innovation Cry, Gunold presented the entire product range of embroidery supplies, and thus a unique range of embroidery threads, films, nonwovens, effect fabrics and accessories. Stephan Gunold: “Visitors showed a very high interest in all of our threads, nonwovens and foils. We were particularly pleased with specific inquiries for products for most diverse applications and also for our range of services e.g. seminars and laser cutting service. As for our embroidery threads, our premium embroidery thread Sulky (viscose), Poly (polyester), the flame-retardant Poly Fire as well as Glowy and Flour, both of which glow in the dark, were in high demand.”

Thanks to Techtextil, which took place at the same time as the Texprocess in adjoining halls, a higher range of exhibitors and products attracted visitors from faraway countries. "That was very obvious," says Stephan Gunold, for whom thinking out of the box is more important than ever before! “For Gunold the Techtextil exhibition serves as an information platform to discover new ideas, products and applications. Therefore Stephan Gunold already knows today: "In 2019, we will definitely participate at the Texprocess trade show".
