Strong international participation

Together, Techtextil and Texprocess will bring more than 1,700 exhibitors to the Frankfurt exhibition grounds. Texprocess runs in parallel with around 200 exhibitors, remaining stable despite challenging market conditions.

The trade fair will feature 16 country pavilions, including France, Korea and Switzerland. The Netherlands and Tunisia are presenting official pavilions for the first time. Growth is reported from European and intercontinental markets such as India, the Netherlands, Portugal, Australia, Colombia, Nigeria, Hungary and Uruguay.

Performance Apparel Textiles: expanded space

Performance Apparel Textiles will occupy a significantly larger area in Hall 9.0, with space doubled for the 2026 edition. The segment covers materials designed for protection, thermoregulation, insulation and cooling, used in workwear, protective and military clothing, outdoor products and sports applications.

Technical textiles across multiple applications

Techtextil will showcase solutions across several key areas, including mobility, industrial textiles and medical applications. Mobility-related materials are used in sectors such as automotive and aerospace. Industrial textiles cover a variety of technical uses, while medical textiles range from implantable materials to wound-care products.

Meeting point for decision-makers

According to the organisers, Techtextil brings together decision-makers from various industries at a time marked by recession, tariff pressures and geopolitical tensions. Exhibitors and visitors use the platform to open up new markets, forge partnerships and accelerate the transfer of applications into practice.
