By combining their services, the new partners will be able to cater to the entire textile supply chain.

Meyer & Meyer and WKS will cover the logistics fields of transportation, customs, warehousing, picking and packing and distribution, ensuring that independent spot checks are carried out in their own logistics centres. Intertek will complement these processes with its portfolio of global services for compliance with social and environmental aspects in manufacturing countries.

The company also provides training and qualifications for agents both in countries of provenance and target markets as well as quality controls, random sampling systems (AQL) and a variety of recognised physical and chemical laboratory tests. By collaborating in this way, all three companies are responding to the dynamically changing demands of their customers in the textile and apparel industry in terms of sourcing and quality assurance systems.
