Alcova, known for revitalizing historical locations with unique presentations, brings its distinctive flair to Heimtextil. The event, under the theme “Future Continuous”, aims to merge past and future trends, offering fresh perspectives on textiles. Curators Valentina Ciuffi and Joseph Grima emphasize the role of language in understanding and predicting trends, incorporating diverse viewpoints from interviews with designers, researchers, and experts. “Language helps us to understand trends by describing how they develop over time. It enables us to analyse the significance of trends and predict their future impact,” explain Valentina Ciuffi and Joseph Grima. “Language is therefore becoming a key tool for understanding and communicating the complexity and progression of future developments.”

The Trend Arena in Hall 3.0 will feature these dynamic interpretations, making Heimtextil Trends 25/26 a hub for forward-thinking practices. Full details of “Future Continuous” will be revealed at the Trend Preview on 12th September 2024.

Heimtextil 2025 will be held from January 14th to 17th, 2025.
