German Pavilion, AI textile inspection and sustainability highlights
Cinte Techtextil China, a trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, will take place from September 19th-21st, 2024, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

This year´s event will see the return of the German Pavilion, showcasing advanced technologies and products in automotive nonwovens, industrial monofilaments, and weaving machinery. Notable exhibitors include Hansa Industrie-Mixer, J. H. Ziegler Nonwovens and New Materials, and Reifenhauser Reicofil, among others. The pavilion will feature innovations such as Autefa Solutions´nonwoven line machinery, and Emtec Electronic´s Tactile Sensation Analyzer (TSA), which objectively measures textile qualities.
New for this year´s fair, AiDLab will present the AI based Textile Inspection System (AiTIS), which detects material defects with high precision, marking an advancement in textile technology. Additionally, the fringe program will introduce “Econogy Talks” and sustainability tours, highlighting Messe Frankfurt´s commitment to eco-friendly practices. Attendees can also explore the “Innovation Showcase Area”, focusing on technology and sustainable development. The fair spans 12 application areas, offering comprehensive insights and opportunities across the technical textiles and nonwovens industry.
