The awards highlight solutions that address global challenges across the textile value chain. The jury focused on approaches with technical depth and practical relevance. The selection includes research initiatives, industrial developments and early-stage concepts.

Materials and fibre innovations

Several projects reflect current needs in circularity. EC0Tex was honoured for an automated fibre analysis method intended to improve textile recycling chains. axrial received recognition for an axial yarn construction designed for adaptive composites. CITEVE was awarded for a development in textile surface technologies. H&B Materials was selected for a material formulation aligned with resource-efficient production.

Composites, structures and product concepts

FormLig, Mariva and NUO presented concepts that combine textile architecture with functional design. Their contributions show how lightweight structures continue to influence product development. FlectoLine was acknowledged for a curved structural approach that expands design options for flexible elements.

Processing and recycling technologies

Fibre Extrusion Technology received an award for a gel spinning process using supercritical CO2, offering an alternative route to high-performance fibres. Samsara Eco was recognised for an enzymatic process intended to support circular textile systems. re.solution was honoured for an electrochemical hydrolysis method targeting polymer recovery.

Automation and digital tools

Texprocess awards emphasise production technologies. Robotextile convinced the jury with a gripper system suited to handling flexible textiles. CryoTec presented an ice-based gripping approach supported by image analysis. AiDLab’s WiseEye was recognised for a tool designed for sewing quality inspection. Amann received an award for AeoniQ Fil. Vizoo was honoured for its CAST system. CITEVE was selected again for a robotic T-shirt assembly cell.

The 2026 winners provide a cross-section of developments shaping both fairs. Their focus on sustainability, efficiency and automation reflects the direction of textile and apparel production worldwide.
