The director Dr. Stefan Topp elucidated: „ Despite tough competitive pressure, we were able to increase our sales once again significantly. The proportional strongest gains were recorded in the field of technical textiles – mainly in the automobile industry and the mechanical engineering.” The textile tapes from Bavaria cannot only be found in high quality apparel and home furnishings but also in almost all well-known automobile brands such as Airbus and also in special wound dressings.

The company group, which is well-known for its pioneering role in the field of environmental and social benefit, made a two-day-excursion from Durach to the subsidiary in Italy together with its employees. The occasion was the celebration of the 70-years anniversary of the company. For the previous financial year 2015 Topp distributed more than 70 % of its profit after tax to all employees.

Despite the uncertain planning basis due to the currently global economic basic conditions the company expects a further stable increase in the next few years. This should be mainly driven by various new developments and a recently issued patent for producing efficient and resource-saving automotive interior trims.
