Toray Selected for Inclusion in Representative ESG Investment Indices

Toray Industries, Inc., has been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series and the FTSE Blossom Japan Index Series.

FTSE Russell, a wholly owned subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange Group, developed these globally respected indices, which track the stocks of companies that demonstrate excellent environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices.

As a result of being selected as a “FTSE Blossom Japan Index Series” Toray was selected for all four indices (see below) used by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF), the world's largest fund management organization in Japan, to invest in accordance with ESG initiatives.

The Toray Group has positioned the promotion of CSR as one of its top management priorities, and is committed to contributing to the resolution of social issues through its business activities, promoting safety, accident prevention, environmental preservation, corporate ethics, and compliance with laws and regulations.
