Automation addresses critical industry challenges

The German machinery manufacturer will showcase its latest technological innovations at ITMA Asia 2025 from October 28-31, with smart automation solutions designed to combat rising labor costs and workforce shortages plaguing the global textile industry.

T-CAN System revolutionizes sliver transport

Trützschler's T-CAN automation system represents a breakthrough in spinning preparation, revolutionising sliver transport through intelligent technology. The system reflects the company's strategic focus on operational simplification and efficiency optimisation.

The showcase will also feature the “TC 30i” card, delivering up to 40% higher productivity compared to current benchmarks, particularly in man-made fibre processing. Advanced waste suction systems enable separate collection of different waste types, allowing over 50% of card waste to be reused. The integrated waste control system provides effective assurance against unnecessary fibre loss.

Integrated solutions drive performance

The IDF 3 integrated draw frame complements the “TC 30i” by enabling shortened spinning preparation processes for rotor and airjet applications. In rotor spinning, the system improves yarn quality when processing raw materials with high short fibre content, while a new can changing system increases card efficiency by up to 3%.

Comprehensive technology portfolio

Trützschler Card Clothing will present its broad product portfolio, from high-precision standard components to customer-specific innovations. All card clothings are specifically engineered and aligned with Trützschler machines to ensure high carding performance and consistent quality.

The Nonwovens division will demonstrate the Carded Pulp line combining paper-grade pulp and viscose to produce 100% biodegradable nonwovens for sustainable wipes. The T-Suprema needle-punching line offers flexibility and productivity across automotive, filtration, geotextiles, and acoustics applications. A breakthrough in Air-Through Bonding technology enables industrial-scale processing of 0.6 denier ultra-fine bicomponent fibers for premium baby diaper applications. The X-Series carding systems, including NCT-X and NC-X models, deliver robust quality with high output and stability. The company will present these technologies at booth D302 in Hall 4 at the Singapore Expo.
