Work methods in the apparel industry are changing – digital solutions are now accelerating the development and production of garments. Human Solutions’ focus for the conference is on the 3D simulation software Vidya. “We are delighted that we and Brax can show what Vidya can do for day-to-day work in collection creation,” says Dr. Andreas Seidl, CEO of Human Solutions.

Brax uses Vidya for its digitized product development, reducing costs and the time required for producing physical prototypes. “Our entry into digital product development was an important project for us. At the PI, we’ll be letting visitors look over our shoulders to see how we arrive at the right sample much faster with Vidya,” says Sebastian Geist, Head of Public Relations at Brax.

Brax and Human Solutions will showcase digital product development with Vidya on the first day of the exhibition from 12:05 PM in Room 2. On the second day from 13:35 PM, Human Solutions will preside at the panel discussion on “How is 3D Set to Disrupt the Fashion/Apparel Industry?”

Human Solutions will also present its complete portfolio for the textile and apparel industry in the exhibition area, where the focus will be on PLM GoLive. “For us, PLM is the heart of development and a stimulus from the first draft to product delivery,” says Seidl. “We want to show visitors how our solutions harmonize perfectly with PLM GoLive and also demonstrate the opportunities that arise through linking PLM and Vidya.”
