The Göppingen based manufacturer of lingerie accessories has been showing „passion for detail“ since 1859. The in-house produced underwires and wire casings are used by lingerie manufacturers worldwide. Now Wissner takes on the wire production of Metric Products GmbH and therewith the brands Galbline and Ergoline.

„By the acquisition of Galbline and Ergoline we are extending our already varied portfolio by premium wires which are already well positioned in the market. We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers further innovative products“, explains Dr. Andreas Lederer, managing director of Wissner. "We have already launched the modern and light plastic coated flat wires on the market since the 1970s."

The special features of Galbline- und Ergoline-wires consist in their profile (C-shape) and the specially hardened wire core. This guarantees superior fit for every possible movement – without pinching. The Ergoline underwire, which is also curved vertically, optimally adapts to the body shape and retains its shape, even for large sizes.

From 2019 Galbline and Ergoline will be registered trademarks of Wilh. Wissner GmbH & Co. KG and can be purchased in their usual quality.

In combination with the state-of-the-art wire casings, bra straps accessories (rings, sliders and hooks), hook and eye fasteners (hook and eye closure bands/tapes) as well as bones Wissner offers a comprehensive package compiled to the finest detail for lingerie manufacturers around the world.
