Laser cutting for the soft signage market: Precise, automated, large format

In the soft signage sector, fray-free edges, precise cuts and an efficient workflow are what count. The requirements for precision and flexibility are increasing, especially for large-format, printed textiles. Laser cutting offers clear advantages here: no tool wear, no material distortion, perfect cutting quality – even with intricate contours.

To meet these requirements, the German manufacturer eurolaser has developed CO2 laser systems that are specially designed for processing roll goods. The 3XL-3200 model processes textile widths of up to 3.2 metres and delivers consistently reproducible results. Supported by the POSITION+ camera-based recognition system, print contours are automatically detected and cut under software control - ideal for changing motifs or print-on-demand.

“Our systems save time and ensure consistently high quality - from the first to the last cut,” says Thorsten Brandt, CMO of eurolaser.

With the marking modules that can be integrated, materials can be labelled directly during laser cutting – for example with sewing marks, barcodes or labels. This additional function enables efficient preparation of downstream processing steps and increases process reliability. With these and other modular extensions and automation options, eurolaser offers flexible solutions for the entire machining process – ideal for industrial textile production.
