TITV Greiz presents programme for Smart Textiles event

The Smart Textiles User Forum, taking place on 4 and 5 March 2026, will focus on textile solutions for medical and safety applications. Several programme items indicate developments that may soon influence the industry.

The event is aimed at companies and professionals working with smart textiles in the fields of medicine, medical engineering, occupational safety and resilience. The combination of textiles and electronic functions forms the technological basis of the topics addressed. The organisers are TITV Greiz, the Research Council Textiles and the German Institutes for Textile and Fibre Research Denkendorf (DITF).

Kick-off at Bauerfeind

The first day of the event begins with a guided tour of the Bauerfeind AG Innovation Centre. A cultural programme and a joint dinner will follow. On 5 March, presentations and panel discussions are scheduled. The programme is structured around the topics of medicine, resilience and occupational safety. According to the press release, start-ups will also have the opportunity to present their developments.
