Finland: new solutions to textile industry transformation

There is globally approx. 92 million tons of textile waste every year. New sustainable solutions are needed for each stage of a textile’s life cycle.

One of the Spinnova fibre’s unique features is that it can be upcycled in the process, again without dissolving or harmful chemicals. This means that in the future, a product can be taken back from the consumer by a brand Spinnova work with, delivered to their process and ground back into micro fibrils without even dismantling the product. © Spinnova
