World premiere of revamped sublimation model
Mimaki expands the possibilities of digital textile printing with its Tiger 1800B MkII printing system.
First unveiled at Fespa 2018 in Berlin (15-18 May 2018), the Tiger 1800B MkII system with 1200 dpi offers an additional quality mode as well as several quality-enhancing improvements such as less banding and the prevention of further printing errors. “We’re witnessing a growing transition from analogue to digital printing in textiles and clothing. As one of the pioneers in this field, Mimaki has set its sights on introducing affordable and technologically leading solutions in this market segment,” states Bert Benckhuysen, Product Manager EMEA at Mimaki Europe, continuing, “The Tiger 1800B MkII printing system, which is available in two models for direct to garment and sublimation printing, is just one example of how Mimaki is bringing this strategy to life. In a newly developing market such as digital textile printing, it’s particularly important to appear as a supplier of complete solutions. This is why we’re also providing a new range of systems for the pre- and post-treatment of textiles and are working on the development of an internet of things for the textiles and clothing market.”
