“Sustainable-ization”
Jeanologia presents two innovative collections 5.Zero: Indigo & vintage and All blacks edition and introduces “sustainable-ization” to the textile industry
Jeanologia’s technological innovations promote a more reasonable use of natural and human resources in the garment finishing processes. In their intent to make these processes sustainable, the Spanish company offers technological solutions towards a full “sustainable-ization” of the industry, maintaining quality, product look and the rationalization of production methods.
According to Carme Santacruz, creative designer at Jeanologia and in charge of Jeanologia’s Collections “our aim is to set 5.Zero finishes (zero discharge, zero manual scrapping, zero potassium permanganate spray, zero stone washing and zero bleach) as the standard in the denim industry, improving appearance and product quality with a neutral cost. In this context, with the combined use of our technologies: laser, ozone and e-Flow; along with the right fabric selection, properly tested with our Light Sensitive Fabric tool, it is possible to achieve this.”
The environmental footprint of all developments made at Jeanologia is analyzed using the EIM (Environmental Impact Measurement) Software. This software, developed by the company, measures water, energy and chemical consumption. By doing so, it can be proved that all garments have a low environmental impact, contributing to minimize their environmental footprint and adding to the ‘sustainable-ization’ of all finishes.” The company works together with the German textile industry on their path to consolidating the digital transformation, thereby reaching their objective of detoxification and dehydration of the whole global jeans production.
Collection 5.Zero: indigo & vintage and all blacks edition
The collection 5.Zero indigo & vintage, is inspired by the vintage of the 80s, 90s and 2000s and shows how, through the use of Jeanologia’s laser, it is possible to create wear and other effects from the era, saving water and considerably reducing the use of chemicals and energy. The collection 5.Zero all blacks edition shows the benefits of the eco-technology for developing finishes on black denim. Combining the use of laser and G2 ozone technology the white effect in the used area is enhanced, avoiding the use of potassium permanganate spray. A washed down effect is enhaced, without using any chemicals that could be harmful to the environment and workers.
Leaders in the textile industry
Since 1993 the mission of Jeanologie has been to improve the industry of garment finishing through their technology and know-how. Their laser, G2 ozone and e-flow system have revolutionized the textile industry. They offer infinite design possibilities and garment finishes, while saving water, energy and chemicals, eliminating waste and toxic emissions.
The Spanish company currently has clients in 5 continents. The export of its machines and services represents 90% of its total billing, reaching 60 countries. The biggest brands on the market place their confidence in Jeanologia, using technology developed by the company.
