Pressekonferenz in Augsburg: Durch den Einsatz von Carbonfaser-Verbundwerkstoffen werden Gewichtseinsparungen von bis zu 50 Prozent gegenüber vergleichbaren Bauteilen aus Stahl erzielt. Zehn Kilogramm weniger Gewicht reduzieren die CO2-Emissionen um 1 g/kg. Die Verringerung des Fahrzeuggewichts wird sich außerdem positiv auf die Autonomie batterieelektrischer Fahrzeuge auswirken. © Faurecia
