Glücksband Roth GmbH & Co. KG
Frank Weinmann’s answer to the question: what developments in the textile industry make you optimistic about 2025?
Why are we positive about the year 2025? Last year, we celebrated our 200th anniversary at Glücksband Roth. We have remained true to woven ribbons since the company was founded in 1824. This sector has been a few decades in the background, therefore, we recently invested in new, high-quality ribbon weaving machines. Our ribbons are in demand in the event sector, as entrance ribbons for trade fairs, concerts or in the VIP area of the soccer stadium. Our customers appreciate the regional production, our flexibility and delivery reliability. After all, reliability is a key criterion in the event sector.
We have had textile labels in our range since 1955. Hans Roth, a member of the owner family at the time, set up this new line of business in order to establish a second mainstay alongside ribbons. Over the past decades, we have changed the printing process to flexographic printing, established direct sourcing from Asia and thermal transfer printing, which is suitable for small batch sizes. In 2025, the 201st year of our existence, we are therefore on a solid basis. We are looking positively into the future. We supply items that nobody actually wants to deal with in detail - and we make sure that this is not necessary.
