FTC has been in the process to achieve the STeP by Oeko-Tex (Sustainable Textile Production) since the beginning of the year. Since then, all process steps within the company’s own production facilities have been audited for environmental friendliness and working conditions have been inspected for social responsibility. The Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex certificate is required for the Made in Green by Oeko-Tex label, which guarantees products free of harmful substances. This certificate was already implemented at FTC in 2021.

The recent completion of STeP by Oeko-Tex certification and receipt of the Made in Green by Oeko-Tex label means a lot to the company: “We are proud of our employees and our completely own supply chain, which ultimately made it possible to achieve the Made in Green by Oeko-Tex label in such a short time. The STeP's holistic approach to certification convinced us straight away and we are sure that the label will also be of great interest to clients and final customers,” said Adrian Knezovic, Representative FTC. The QR code attached to the hangtag enables the Oeko-Tex Label Check, which shows thevalue chain transparently.

What distinguishes FTC from other brands is its own complete value chain: from growing the fodder for the own cashmere goats and caretaking of the goats, to manufacturing the finished fashion styles – all steps are in the hands of FTC. Furthermore, FTC pursues climate goals with ClimatePartner and offers physical proof of the supply chain through the Haelixa marker.
