Heimtextil 2027 Preview
New structure, new links to distribution channels: Carpets & Rugs will move into several halls and gain a premium segment. Bed, Bath & Living will also add ‘Comfort & Connect’ as a central meeting point.
Carpets & Rugs: structured around purchasing and distribution
Heimtextil 2027 takes place in Frankfurt am Main from 12 to 15 January 2027. In Carpets & Rugs, the trade fair is reshaping the segment in response to current market requirements and strengthening networking across purchasing and distribution channels. Suppliers will be integrated into Heimtextil’s product worlds, combining holistic interior concepts for specialist retailers, solutions for hospitality and contract projects, and offerings for the international volume business.
Bettina Bar, Director Heimtextil, sums up the approach: “Our aim is to reflect the needs of the entire carpet market as effectively as possible. Together with the industry, we continuously develop Carpets & Rugs and create an even more targeted business platform for manufacturers, brands and buyers worldwide.”
Halls: fibres and yarns, one-offs, volume
Machine-made carpets as well as suppliers of fibres, yarns and technologies will present in Hall 3.1 alongside Decorative & Furniture Fabrics, with direct access to specialist retailers and contract business. In Hall 3.0, hand-knotted one-off pieces, premium doormats and flooring solutions expand the area Interior Design Concepts: Windows, Wall & Floor with holistic interior concepts. Halls 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1 will serve as the meeting place for volume manufacturers and major buyers, complementing the offering with handwoven and machine-made carpets. Numerous market leaders and brands have already confirmed participation for 2027.
‘Carpets & Rugs Excellence’ as a curated premium segment
With Carpets & Rugs Excellence, Heimtextil 2027 introduces a premium segment in Hall 11.0 featuring selected international volume manufacturers for the first time. Chosen by an independent jury of experts, the companies stand for high-quality products, excellent workmanship and manufacturing expertise. The area is positioned as a central meeting point for buyers from retail, hospitality and contract business looking for quality-focused carpet suppliers capable of handling order volumes of every scale.
‘Comfort & Connect’: compact area for Bed, Bath & Living
Heimtextil is also expanding its product range for Bed, Bath & Living with ‘Comfort & Connect’, a new meeting place in the foyer of Hall 5.1 for high-quality bed, bath and lifestyle collections. Already confirmed are Auskin Europe, Essenza Home, Formesse, Hermann Biederlack, Ibena Textilwerke, Sprugel Hometex, Stuco and Zoeppritz, with several companies returning after a lengthy break from exhibiting.
