Inaugurated on July 13, 2023, the production line in China complements the manufacturing operations in Obernburg (Germany) and Asheville (North Carolina, USA) and enables Freudenberg to expand the “Enka” business in the APAC region.

“Enka Solutions” offers high-performance 3D entangled mats suitable for solutions in construction, industry and civil engineering. The 3D entangled polymeric filament structure offers multible solutions for the fields of acoustics, ventilation, drainage, erosion control, sports and recreation, vibration damping, soil stabilization or biofiltration.

The investment in China will enable “Enka Solutions” to expand its production capacities. Freudenberg’s presence on the three continents (Europe, Asia and America) will enable it to serve the local markets, deliver faster and produce more locally.
