Twelve partners from ten EU countries are involved. The IVGT e.V. (Industrieverband Veredlung – Garne – Gewebe – Technische Textilien e.V) participated for Germany.

Prior to the meeting, all project partners had already carried out research activities in their countries, involving 47 educational institutions, 55 universities and 272 textile companies. The aim was to find challenges and opportunities related to green, digital and smart technologies and to identify areas of innovative impetus for the industry through learning and training. The results of this second work package have now been presented.

Addtex’ work will now continue in a third work package. The task now is to advance the development of the Addtex ”Digital Skills and Sustainability Skill Academy“, which will aime engineers, professionals, technicians, university graduates, managers and mentors. Among other things, new curricula and training modules are being developed for this purpose.
