Bitzer & Single GmbH
Johannes Freund, Anna-Maria Freund und Bernhard Freund’s answer to the question: what developments in the textile industry make you optimistic about 2025?
Despite the subdued economic situation, our partners are showing a willingness to invest and innovate, with a focus on individualization:
A new adhesive coating machine for heat transfer labels opens up new possibilities in the automotive, medical and fashion sectors.
Investment in new production lines for bra fasteners to optimise softness and wearing comfort with a view to GRS certification.
In the workwear sector, we rely on innovative textile surfaces to meet existing and new standards and to further develop the functionality of our products. We have new solutions, particularly in the areas of cut and puncture resistance and flame protection.
The demand for lace for underwear, bodices, outerwear and traditional costumes is growing. Thanks to extensive investment in human capital and machines, our partners are quick to pick up on trends and implement them in new collections. They are already technologically advanced enough to produce finished garments to customer specifications.
The topic of “Made in Europe” remains important to us, especially in view of our dependence on intercontinental logistics. A cooperation project produces high-quality cotton fabrics from Spanish cotton, which are spun, knitted and finished in Germany.
We believe we are well positioned with this broad and specific range.
