Since 2016, SanDam based in Absdorf, Austria, has been producing T-shirts on the Epson SureColor SC-F2000, among others, for "ChaosFlo44", one of the best-known YouTubers in the alpine republic.

When someone places an order with ChaosFlo44, SanDam creates its bespoke garments on the Epson SureColor SC-F2000 completely in line with customer wishes, be it in red or black, pastels or snowy white, from children’s sizes to XXL, all in compliance with the environmentally friendly Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

Children and teenagers from eight to 16 years wear textiles donning all sorts of different site-related messages such as “44”, „#Beschde Internet", „#Melonenstyle". However, ChaosFlo44’s biggest target group follows its “Let’s Play" features on YouTube, which mainly focus on the Microsoft cult game Minecraft. And, of course, none of this would be quite as much fun without a matching T-shirt. Direct digital printing on textiles allows modern, multicoloured motifs to be produced cost efficiently and to high quality standards. The robust PrecisionCore-TFP printhead on the Epson SureColor SC-F2000 has a resolution of up to 1,440 x 1,440 dpi, enabling it to reproduce even the smallest details as well as colour gradients with high levels of precision. The Garment Creator software comes as part of the package, turning shirt design into child’s play. “The user guide is easy even for beginners to understand,” says Andreas Dam, who runs SanDam together with his wife Sabine. The software provides an abundance of practical processing options, such as scaling and rotating motifs, colour replacements and print previews. Maintenance is just as easy: the cleaning cycle simply involves swapping the white cartridge for a cartridge filled with cleaning agent. Sabine Dam adds: “We don’t have time for long-winded manual cleaning cycles. Fortunately, we only have to spend around an hour each week cleaning the machine which is one of the reasons why we opted for this model.”
